Credo Brings Digital Payments to PH Markets

The first edition of the Credo roadshow was “inCREDOble.”

For four days, Credo by eTranzact connected with hundreds of small business owners across three major markets:

  • Garrison Computer Village
  • Rumukalagbor Market
  • Rumumasi Market

Our mission? Simple: To help SMEs in one of Nigeria’s most entrepreneurial cities move beyond cash, embrace digital payments, and experience smarter ways to run and grow their businesses.

Why It Was More Than Just an Activation

According to Business Insider, three out of ten Nigerians are entrepreneurs, and that number is expected to grow as access to tools, capital, and digital infrastructure improves.

This tells us something important: Nigerians are wired for business. Whether it’s a fully registered company or a corner shop by the side of the road, adults across the country are constantly looking for ways to own, grow, and monetise their hustle.

But here’s the catch: while the entrepreneurial spirit is strong, access to simple, efficient business tools is still limited. That’s the gap Credo by eTranzact is stepping in to fill.

So, no — this roadshow wasn’t just about banners and branded t-shirts.
It was about meeting people where they are, showing up in local markets, and offering real solutions that help businesses.

  • Accept payments with ease
  • Track every transaction
  • Reconcile sales automatically
  • Get settled daily
  • Focus more on growing, and less on chasing receipts

Real Conversations, Real Impact

For many of the traders we met, this was their first time interacting with a digital payment solution tailored to their business type. We got tons of questions like

“Will I get my money instantly?”
“Is this for small businesses like mine?”

And the answers? Yes, yes, and absolutely yes.
